Our grassroots efforts transformed the once Vacant Lot on 619 N. New Braunfels into the vibrant Community Garden which serves as a communal gathering space for youth, families, and individuals.
These donations support will support Youth Gardens & Health Programming at:

- Bowden Elementary School
- Sam Houston High School
- Wheatley Community School
- Carroll Early Childhood
- Ella Austin Community Center

Gardopia Gardens assist 5 elementary schools in the Eastside Promise Zone (EPN) in the area codes 78202, 78208, 78203.
According to the Bexar County Health Collaborative, 45%-60%+ Children living in these zip codes are below 100% poverty level.
Help Us End Childhood Diabetes & Obesity
Gardopia Gardens empowers individuals to live healthier lives, We can prevent the long-term intergenerational cycles of obesity & childhood diabetes that burden our most vulnerable communities.
According to the Bexar County Health Collaborative, 8%-54% of adults living in the Near Eastside were told by a provider they are prediabetic or borderline diabetic.
