Part III: Homeschool Vegetable Garden Series

Homeschooling families!

Come learn how to grow your own food at home with a 3-part Gardening Series.

What? The series will is part of Gardopia’s garden-based learning program that teaches youth how to grow their own food. It will show homeschooling families how to:

🌱Start Your Vegetable Garden
🌱Maintain Your Garden
🌱Harvest Your Garden

Topics will include soil science, entomology, composting, sustainability, Botany, tool safety, intercropping and waste reduction.

When? The series will be scheduled once a month, covering a topic a month. 9/25 from 9-10am, Start Your Vegetable Garden; 10/16 from 2-3pm, Maintain Your Garden; and 11/13 from 2-3pm, Harvest Your Garden (please note the different times).

How Much? The cost PER FAMILY is $15 per month. The fee is payable to naturelovinhomeschoolers@gmail.com and due the Monday before Wednesday’s class. You can pay for all three months or monthly as we go.

The goal of the HalloEast is to highlight commerce and cultural exchange along the New Braunfels Corridor.

Previously the economic spine of the Eastside of San Antonio, the New Braunfels Corridor, is due for a revitalization. We will shut down the New Braunfels corridor from Dawson to Blue Bonnet and fill the streets with engaging family-friendly activities! Activities will include: a costume contest, pumpkin patch, , give-a-ways and free food.
