FOOD & NATURE CONFERENCE
Conference Purpose
The 2024 Food & Nature Education Conference is a virtual event focusing on the actions being taken by local organizations in San Antonio, Texas to address food insecurity and climate change.
​
The conference's goal is to raise awareness of those goals and demonstrate simple solutions that can be implemented right now to ensure that future generations are able to lead happy and healthy lives.

REGISTER TODAY
Virtual Speakers
Speakers will be given 10-15 minutes to talk about how their organization is addressing food insecurity and or climate change.
On-Site Workshops
Educational workshops will be short demonstrations on how to grow food and protect the environment. Vermicomposting, bokashi composting, Canning, healthy cooking, mycology, hydroponics, chickens, rainwater harvesting, composting, seed starting, microgreens, aquaponics.

This effort aligns with the City of San Antonio’s Climate Action and Adaptation Plan’s Adaptation Goal of Protecting Local Food Security, Strategy #36 - Pursue Urban Agriculture Opportunities.
