These classes are high project-based learning environments for the learners, working with 1-2 garden educators with over two decades of expertise. Classes can include lessons on gardening 101, composting, seaonal planting, rain water collection, and more.
 
We’ve found that typically grade groups within at least one grade level up or down works best for the knowledge retention. For example, a group of 2nd graders can also we accompanied by 1st graders and 3rd graders. That’s not to say that we can’t make accommodations outside those intervals!
 
We found that groups between 15-25 really get better interactions with instructors.
